At Chubb Fire & Security, we are seeking a skilled Portable Service Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in the fire protection industry, including servicing, maintaining, and selling fire hose reels, fire extinguishers, and related products. Industry accreditation or the ability to obtain it is required.

This role requires a professional who can uphold high standards of safety and security while performing service work. The ideal candidate will be able to identify, repair, and install portable fire protection systems and equipment to meet Australian Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing portable fire equipment at customer premises and recommending portable fire protection and safety systems in compliance with Australian Standards.
  • Auditing client locations, providing quotes, and selling portable fire protection and safety systems, equipment, and services.
  • Identifying, repairing, and installing portable fire protection systems and equipment to meet Australian Standards.
  • Documenting maintenance activities using electronic records and industry-standard documentation.
  • Exceeding financial and KPI targets.

Requirements
  • Qualified Portable Service Technician with relevant experience.
  • Applicable local qualifications or experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards for portable fire protection equipment.
  • Current QBCC License (QLD) for Fire - Portables Class/Stream for installation and maintenance of portable equipment.
