Modality Lead Position

We are seeking a skilled radiographer leader with expertise in CT/X-Ray to guide and inspire our teams across the region.

In this pivotal role, you'll provide leadership and technical knowledge, fostering the growth and performance of our CT/X-Ray teams. You will manage radiographers, ensuring top-tier patient care and operational excellence.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with Regional Management and Group Modality Leads to drive innovation and efficiency. By supporting team development and performance, you will help us meet our current and future goals.

About the Opportunity

This is a genuine opportunity to lead a large team of radiographers across multiple locations and play a significant role in patient care, quality imaging and operational success.

About You

Alongside your solid CT/X-Ray experience, you have a focus on patient care and outcomes, a passion for creating positive change within the modality, and a commitment to continual improvement and lifelong learning.

  • Demonstrate leadership which inspires high performing teams.
  • Effectively manage staff recruitment and rostering to ensure ongoing availability of appropriately skilled talent.
  • Maintain the highest levels of professional patient care, customer service, confidentiality, and moral and ethical codes.
  • Oversee modality trainee programs and development/education opportunities for existing staff.
  • Initiate, implement and support process and system improvements within the region.
  • Maintain knowledge of internal and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with the Regional Management team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to learn new modality techniques and remain on top of current trends and developments.
  • Ability to effectively manage the interactive relationship with patients.
  • Working rights in Australia.
  • Ideally, previous people management experience.
