Senior Data Strategist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Strategist to play a pivotal role in analyzing data structures and enhancing the application landscape.

This role is critical in driving business value through effective data retention capabilities, requiring someone who can demonstrate a strong understanding of application integration patterns and enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize and manage cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery to drive data-driven decision making.
  • Implement and oversee ELT/ETL processes with tools like Airflow, AWS Data Pipeline, and Kinesis to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Leverage data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation) to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance.

Additionally, the successful candidate will:

  • Support integrations using APIs and SFTP protocols to enable secure data exchange.
  • Lead the initial discovery of ideas and initiatives, documenting business goals, requirements, and success measures to drive strategic alignment.
  • Assist in planning project approaches, backlog organization, and development sprints to ensure timely delivery.

  • Familiarity with data governance and integration tools, including enterprise data architecture.
