Head of Development Opportunity

Green Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading independent power producer in their search for a Head of Development to lead a high-performing team of greenfield developers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a viable pipeline of renewable energy developments in Australia ready for construction.
  • Drive the greenfield renewables development strategy and build a development pipeline via a sound understanding of current market dynamics.
  • Identify and develop renewable energy prospects consistent with the company goals and objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and promote the business case for each development project.
  • Negotiate and secure property and neighbor agreements with landowner(s) to provide appropriate rights to develop, construct, and operate renewable energy facilities.
  • Direct, provide, and manage a small team of Development Managers to secure all third-party consents necessary to build and operate renewable energy facilities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in renewable energy development and project management.
  • Passion for continuing to work within the green sustainability space.
