About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team at a well-established, family-run 4-wheel drive accessory and servicing company. As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for fitting, installing, and wiring 4-wheel drive and caravan accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fitting and installation of 4WD accessories, such as dual batteries, brake controllers, solar panels, driving lights, and UHF radios.
  • Fitting caravans, including installation of stability controls, battery upgrades, and accessories.
  • Completing general mechanical repairs for vehicles and caravans.
  • Overseeing apprentices and providing sign-off on their work to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Staying updated with ongoing training and professional development.
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols, particularly when working with electrical systems.

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of qualified experience preferred.
  • Experience mentoring apprentices.
  • Proficient in custom rewiring and accessory fitting.
  • Prior work on caravans.
  • Strong knowledge of 4WD accessories.
  • Current manual driver's license.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
