Data Analyst – Solar Plant Performance Evaluation

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to lead the evaluation and analysis of solar photovoltaic plant performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Collection and Analysis:
  • Collects and analyses data from SCADA systems and monitoring platforms to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may affect performance.
Root-Cause Analysis, Fault, and Problem Identification:
  • Investigates, identifies, and quantifies deviations in performance (short, mid, and long-term) and their causes.
  • Detects and documents technical issues or anomalies diminishing energy generation.
PV Performance Analysis:
  • Evaluates and validates PV plant performance through energy predictive models or indexes.
Reporting:
  • Designs and produces detailed reports or dashboard panels for KPI follow-up.
Inter-Departmental Coordination:
  • Cordinates actions with Engineering, Project, Commissioning, and O&M teams for data and information collection.
System and Contract Optimization:
  • Helps the Company and Department identify areas of improvement to optimize energy production and secure EPC Guarantees.
Requirements
  1. Industrial or Electrical Engineering Degree.
  2. Training in data science/analysis.
  3. At least two (2) years of experience in PV Commissioning or O&M departments.
  4. Technical knowledge of PV technology and PV systems.
  5. Knowledge of performance metrics.
  6. Experience managing data from SCADA systems and monitoring platforms.
  7. Ability to interpret complex data and communicate results clearly and concisely.
  8. Experience in data analysis, predictive models.
  9. Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  10. Experience in solar plant operation.
  11. Knowledge of PPC control.
  12. Knowledge of electrical engineering.
