As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality psychological services. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess and treat clients with psychiatric disabilities and dementia.The ideal candidate is an energetic and determined clinical psychologist who can communicate effectively, both written and verbally. They should have a strong track record in providing comprehensive psychological assessments and treatments, contributing to patient management plans, and engaging with multidisciplinary teams.You will have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement processes and research initiatives, and contribute to the development of the Older Adult Mental Health Service. Your strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening, and negotiation abilities will enable you to build strong relationships with patients and stakeholders.Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct therapeutic work with clients, including brief and longer psychological treatments.
  • Contribute to the development of patient management plans in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams in mental health services.
  • Participate in quality improvement processes and research initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Hold current general registration as a psychologist and endorsement in Clinical or Forensic Psychology through AHPRA.
  • Hold supervisor endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) for Higher Degree programs and Registrar Supervision.
  • Have a Working with Children's Check and Police Check.
