Teach English in a Christ-Centred School

MidCoast Christian College is an expanding school of over 800 students, situated on the beautiful mid-north coast of NSW.

A vacancy has arisen for a teacher of Secondary English. The successful applicant must:

  • be a practising Christian, active in a church and subscribe to a specific faith statement;
  • demonstrate an understanding of and an ability to teach from a Christian perspective;
  • have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • have extensive knowledge of the 7-12 English curriculum and ability to teach HSC English;
  • demonstrate an ability to cater for the full range of learners, have high expectations of students and integrate technology into teaching;
  • be able to understand and use data to inform planning and implement assessment for learning principles; and
  • be willing to contribute to the school's co-curricular program.

The successful applicant must satisfy teacher employability requirements and be eligible to work in Australia. The school is committed to providing a safe environment for our students through implementing child safety standards.
