About the Role

This Australian business is seeking a qualified Sheetmetal Fabricator to join their team. With over 20 years of experience in the stair industry, the company has established a reputation for delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain shearing, punching, and forming machines.
  • Cut, form, and join sheet metal to fabricate parts.
  • Inspect and check finished parts for quality.
  • Install or repair products made from sheet metal.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to determine the specific requirements of a job.

Requirements

  • Formal qualifications in the trade and an apprenticeship in Australia.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Sheetmetal Fabrication.
  • MIG experience is essential, but TIG experience is also beneficial.
  • Self-motivation and effective time management skills are required.
  • Previous experience working across multiple industries is highly advantageous.
