Job Role

The Australian Federal Police is seeking a Senior Team Leader to join its Security Command team. As a key member of the command, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of people, information, and assets.

As a Senior Team Leader, you will lead multiple security teams consisting of skilled professionals to deliver enterprise-wide security services. You will drive strategies, implement policies, and practices in support of the organisation based on high-level decision-making and judgement.

You will have the capacity to think strategically, operationalise strategic direction, and develop an agile approach to deliver security services across the enterprise. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in developing people, managing change, and influencing behaviours that lead to a supportive culture.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire their team. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
