As an Aerodynamic Specialist (formerly known as Aircrewman), you will be responsible for operating and managing various systems onboard a Navy helicopter. This includes sensors, weaponry, and radar equipment.
You will be a key contributor to the success of various missions, including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations. Your duties may include:
- Aerial door gunner
- Sensor operator
- Radar and surveillance operations
- Search and rescue
- Anti-submarine and surface warfare
- Support to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations
- Airborne mine countermeasures
- Utility operations including vertical replenishment and casualty evacuation
