Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic mental health professional to support children, young people and their families working with the child and adolescent forensic service in the community or at Banksia Hill Detention Centre.

The successful candidate will provide social, emotional, cultural, and/or mental health support to young people and their families through a case management model.

The Role's Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social, emotional and/or mental health care to children, young people and their families who are clients of CAFS.
  • Provide cultural liaison and family engagement where relevant and provide cultural interpretations to the broader CAFS teams.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary environment to contribute to and enhance the provision of mental health assessments and relevant interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes, documentation, and reports in compliance with organisational policies and requirements.
