The OpportunityWe have a 12-month contract for an experienced Project Manager to join our technology team in Brisbane. This role offers the chance to direct project activities, manage finances, and reporting. The position description can be requested upon inquiry.
Nature of position: 12-Month fixed-term contract
Location: Brisbane, QLD
Key Responsibilities- Manage financial and budgetary requirements for all stages of projects
- Conduct weekly, fortnightly and monthly progress and project reports
- Conduct weekly assessments of project status, labor hours and costs to ensure resource allocation aligns with project objectives and budget requirement
- Maintain contact with clients, key suppliers, other Programmed businesses, industry and government representatives to ensure the achievement and satisfaction of overall strategy and business objectives
- Ensure project documentation and reports meet Programmed standards, compliance requirements and timelines are consistent with quality accreditation and HSE standards.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure timely reporting and investigations of incidents to prevent further occurrences.
- Plan the itinerary and major projects to facilitate the achievement of PET profit targets, in conjunction with the team.
- Undertake on-the-job coaching and mentoring of direct reports and proactively manage performance and development needs in accordance with company policy and project needs

To succeed in this role, you will need experience as a Project/Program Manager with a background in Audio-visual, Information Technology, or Unified Communications. You must be proficient in planning and managing financials within a project. Additionally, you will possess;

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
