As a cybersecurity architect, you will be responsible for shaping the security backbone of cutting-edge software used by some of the world's most complex mining operations. You will join a global team of professionals dedicated to delivering innovative technology across the mine planning value chain.

This strategic role is embedded within our software department and reports directly to the Head of Information Technology. As a key member of our architecture practice, you will lead the development of secure, high-performance solutions across our product suite.

  • You will collaborate with software and IT teams to embed security into design, development, and delivery.
  • Lead the design and implementation of security controls across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for new and existing systems.
  • Define and enforce security architecture principles, standards, and policies.
  • Champion secure development practices (DevSecOps, SDLC) and mentor technical teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies.
  • Translate security strategy into actionable architecture and reusable design patterns.
  • Support incident response and forensic investigations as a subject matter expert.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, including at least 2 years in security architecture or senior engineering.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
  • Deep expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure), identity and access management, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Experience with secure development practices and DevSecOps.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence across technical and business teams.
