Key Responsibilities include engaging with the community and stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service, utilizing best practices in arboriculture to support a healthy and sustainable environment, and being part of a team that fosters continuous improvement and professional development.
About the Role:
The Tree Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the urban and open space tree canopy in a proactive manner. This involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that tree assessments and management services are executed efficiently and effectively.
The role will actively manage risks associated with trees through proactive inspection, ongoing data input, conducting audits, and maintaining the tree register via the Asset Management System.
Key Requirements include a AQF Level 5 Diploma in Horticulture (Arboriculture) or nearing completion, Class C Drivers Licence and NSW WHS White Card, proven experience in tree assessment and management, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to use technology and systems for record-keeping and reporting.
