Third Country Deployments Manager

The role of the Third Country Deployments Manager is a critical one, involving all aspects of facilitating approvals for sensitive and highly-sensitive deployment requests.
- This includes requests for foreign nationals on exchange with the ADF and managing the approval process for individual service personal deploying to another country from an overseas posting.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating archived deployment documentation and making recommendations on outstanding administration and Conditions of Service Entitlements.
- In addition, they will contribute to the development of personnel policy, doctrine, and the capture of lessons learned.
- Facilitating approvals for sensitive and highly-sensitive deployment requests.
- Managing the approval process for individual service personal deploying to another country from an overseas posting.

The role falls within the Global Team of the Operations and Plans Branch which is comprised of ADF and APS personnel. The team works together to achieve operational outcomes in support of the Australian Defence Force.

- Capability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to remain flexible, agile, and adaptable in a fluid environment.
- Good understanding of the operational environment or willingness to learn.
