Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to lead the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) in our Rydalmere location. This is a contract position for 3-6 months.

In this role, you will work closely with different teams to ensure that processes are followed correctly and approvals are completed on time. You will also be responsible for identifying and addressing roadblocks in the PPAP workflow to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage the PPAP Process: Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure all requirements are met.
  2. Complete PPAP Documentation: Manage and complete all PPAP documentation to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination: Work closely with engineering, procurement, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to drive PPAP approvals.
  4. Problem-Solving & Escalation: Act as the main point of contact for PPAP-related issues and escalate challenges when needed.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify and address roadblocks in the PPAP workflow to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of PPAP Processes: Knowledge of managing PPAP processes is essential.
  • Strong Communication & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to keep things moving.
  • A Proactive Mindset: A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, comfortable working with different teams.
