The Power Dressing Exhibition is a major undertaking that requires a dedicated professional to lead the project from conception to delivery. As Senior Curator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering this exhibition, which explores how clothing communicates political ideas and examines the relationship between clothing choices and expressions of democracy.

The Role

Working closely with a small team, you will research, write and develop content for onsite, online and outreach programs. You will also lead pro-active collecting efforts and manage the team to deliver high quality outputs for the exhibition.

  • Create engaging experiences for visitors through the development and delivery of the Power Dressing exhibition.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a background in Australian history and the history of clothing, textiles and fashion, as well as a strong awareness of the relationship between fashion and power. You will also need to possess excellent communication and project management skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
