About the RoleThis is a casual trainer position, working with our Access Skills Training (AST) division. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to students, aligned to the accredited course or certificate they are enrolled in.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver training in line with published 'AST Business Rules'
- Assist with the recruitment and entry processes of students
- Prepare session plans/teaching notes, handouts, examples of activities, assessment tools and tasks in line with the relevant training package or accredited requirements
- Record students' attendance
- Complete student assessments and submit learner results into AST's Student Management System (aXcelerate)
- Implement Learner Satisfaction / Feedback Surveys at mid-year and end of year of the course
- Participate in moderation/validation process as directed by supervisor
- Optimise the use of technology to enhance the quality of delivery and assessment for learners
- Support students undertaking work placement and complete workplace assessment as required
- Undertake relevant professional development activities each year to ensure own industry and educational skills, knowledge and experience are maintained
- Hold a current Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- Have full Australian working rights
- Hold a full Australian driver's license
- Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
- Hold or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Demonstrate the WISE attributes: Customer Centricity, Curiosity, Resilience, Adaptability, Creativity and a Growth Mindset
- Great hourly rate - $58 Per Hour
