Trainer Opportunities in Bendigo

We are seeking experienced trainers to deliver specialized training in the Bendigo Region. As a trainer with our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.

About the Role

This is a casual trainer position, working with our Access Skills Training (AST) division. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to students, aligned to the accredited course or certificate they are enrolled in.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training in line with published 'AST Business Rules'
  • Assist with the recruitment and entry processes of students
  • Prepare session plans/teaching notes, handouts, examples of activities, assessment tools and tasks in line with the relevant training package or accredited requirements
  • Record students' attendance
  • Complete student assessments and submit learner results into AST's Student Management System (aXcelerate)
  • Implement Learner Satisfaction / Feedback Surveys at mid-year and end of year of the course
  • Participate in moderation/validation process as directed by supervisor
  • Optimise the use of technology to enhance the quality of delivery and assessment for learners
  • Support students undertaking work placement and complete workplace assessment as required
  • Undertake relevant professional development activities each year to ensure own industry and educational skills, knowledge and experience are maintained
Requirements
  • Hold a current Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Have full Australian working rights
  • Hold a full Australian driver's license
  • Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Demonstrate the WISE attributes: Customer Centricity, Curiosity, Resilience, Adaptability, Creativity and a Growth Mindset
