Child Protection Caseworker Role

This is a dynamic role in a multi-disciplinary service model, where you will assess safety and risk to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address safety and risk concerns for vulnerable children and young people
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including families, carers, and community members
  • Source accurate and comprehensive information to inform decision-making and ensure evidence-based practice
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver holistic and coordinated services that promote positive outcomes for children and young people
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical, assessment, and communication skills. You must be able to build strong relationships and work effectively in a team environment.

  • A minimum of 2 years' frontline experience in child protection or a related field
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build positive working relationships
  • A valid driver's licence (P1 or above) and a paid working with children clearance number
