Quantitative Modeller - Model Risk Team

Our client, a leading financial business, is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Modeller to join their Model Risk team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for validating models for pricing and risk in financial markets, developing and enhancing existing models, and engaging with stakeholders to present models and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate models for pricing and risk in financial markets
  • Develop and enhance existing models
  • Engage with stakeholders to present models and outcomes

What You'll Gain:

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a market risk quantitative role with knowledge of equities/derivatives
  • Tertiary qualification in quantitative finance or related field
  • Experience in programming (R, Python, C/C++/C#)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt to new challenges
  • Knowledge of front office and risk systems is a bonus
