We are currently seeking a highly skilled Java Microservices Lead to join our team at Zone IT Solutions. This role offers substantial growth opportunities and involves working on a large-scale project.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest API technology advances.
- Contribute to code reviews, improvement of automation, and best practices to enable faster and more secure delivery of initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and refine user stories, and interact with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Develop and maintain coding standards and ensure adherence to them within the team.
- Work closely with the Chapter Lead to define coding standards and processes, and with the Principal Engineer to support the platform backlog.
- Take ownership of technical implementation of solution design, API modeling, and mapping.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in designing and implementing REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and experience working with AWS MSK.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
