About BMD Constructions

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Nowra. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our civil infrastructure projects meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement quality management plans and procedures on site
  • Provide support to delivery teams to promote effective quality management practices
  • Lead and mentor engineers in project QA
  • Communicate effectively with the project team and handle client expectations
  • Verify that works constructed are compliant to required standards and specifications
  • Monitor compliance through site visits, inspections, and audits
  • Identify quality issues and implement solutions to improve the project's quality system
  • Monitor and report on quality performance

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering preferred
  • Lead Auditor qualification highly regarded
  • Experience managing QA management systems on major civil infrastructure projects
  • Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
