Senior Mining Operations Manager

The primary function of this position is to oversee underground mining operations, ensuring the well-being and safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors.
This role requires proven expertise in underground development and production within a mechanized hard-rock mining environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining safe work procedures and promoting high safety awareness.
- Ensuring robust production reporting, reconciliation, and improvement evaluation processes.
- Leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assisting in capital project planning, budgeting, and delivery.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A current WA Underground Shift Supervisor Certificate of Competency.
- A valid WA C-Class Driver's License.
- Proven experience in supervising mining operations teams.
- Extensive knowledge of contractor management.
This position requires:
- Superior leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
