About the Opportunity
This exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Horticulturist to join the team at Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. As a key member of our Facilities and Environment team, you will be responsible for planning and maintaining naturalistic landscapes and habitats for native Australian wildlife.
Key Accountabilities
- Environmental Conservation: Contribute to the conservation of native Australian wildlife by developing and implementing sustainable practices within the park.
- Horticultural Services: Provide high-quality horticultural services, ensuring the health and well-being of plants and animals within the park.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with other departments to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Your Requirements
- Qualifications and Experience: Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and possess significant experience in horticulture, preferably in a conservation or wildlife setting.
- Skills and Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of horticultural practices, including plant identification, soil science, irrigation systems, and pest management.
