Senior Midwife Opportunities in NSW, Australia

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Senior Midwives to join departments in various public hospitals in New South Wales, Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality midwifery care and be able to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert midwifery care to patients, prioritizing their needs and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing clinical skills and knowledge to enhance patient experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse/ eligibility to obtain your AHPRA registration.
  • 3+ years experience as a Midwife in the UK / Ireland / USA, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in complex situations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice, with a passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
