About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at McQuoin Park. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-standard nursing clinical care with an individual, person-centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.

You will work closely with the Care Manager and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans that meet the needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Act as Team Leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents by closely following all policies and procedures

Requirements

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
