As a Medical Receptionist at Stride, you will be the central point of communication, providing a superior level of secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical, and management headspace staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Medical Reception duties, including taking incoming calls and directing the caller to the appropriate member of staff
- Appointment scheduling and maintenance of clients
- General Office duties, including opening and distribution of mail, typing, scanning, filing, and archiving
- Assisting in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day
- Typing of Medical letters to members of the clinical team
Requirements:
- Ideal qualifications include a Cert III in Medical Administration or similar qualification
- Excellent administration, time management, and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of the health/NFP sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds
- Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Well-developed customer service skills
- Ability to think and act calmly and deal sensitively with distressed people
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy, and confidentiality
