Reliable Plant Maintenance Specialist Needed

We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive maintenance specialist to join our afternoon shift team of skilled trades people and apprentices.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance roles, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and knowledge or experience with injection moulding equipment.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of plant and equipment, attending to breakdowns and actioning work requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment to ensure production schedules are met.
  2. Proficient in the use of maintenance management systems, preferably MEX.
  3. Ensure urgent issues are communicated to the Engineering Services Supervisor.
  4. Report all potential hazards and incidents using our systems.

Requirements:

  • Hold a trade qualification in Fitting, with demonstrated experience in a maintenance role.
  • Post-trade certificate and experience in hydraulics & pneumatics.
  • Demonstrated experience in CMMS (preferably MEX).
  • Thorough knowledge of Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems.
  • Significant knowledge of Injection Moulding Equipment and associated equipment.
