The Opportunity

This is an exciting chance for a skilled Software Integration Expert to contribute to our mission and develop innovative solutions. You will collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams, specifically assisting with third-party integrations and backend development to support healthcare initiatives.

The position can be based in Melbourne or remotely.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support and develop third-party integrations, implementing APIs and managing data flow across systems.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code to ensure reliable integration solutions using Python.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure seamless integration functionality.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and team leads to document, optimize, and test integrations.
  • Contribute to API development and maintenance, improving performance and adhering to best practices.
  • Use GitHub for source control, participating in code reviews and maintaining version control.
  • Contribute to process improvements, and share knowledge across the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend or integration work.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with data storage solutions, such as MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with GitHub for source control, version management, and collaboration.
  • Interest in integrating third-party systems and solving complex data integration challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute actively within a collaborative team.
