Home Alloy is a well-established bodybuilder based in Sydney, serving a range of fleet customers and single operators. They are seeking skilled welders and fabricators to join their team.

Job Details:

  • The successful candidate will assemble aluminium components according to work instructions and drawings provided by supervisors and production staff.
  • They will conduct the work in line with standard job builds and SOPs, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • The role involves building jobs as directed, adhering to appropriate standards and time constraints.
  • The individual must report any broken or damaged machinery, ensuring all problems are tagged out correctly.
  • Welding and fabrication skills are essential, with an emphasis on meeting specifications.
  • The position requires adherence to Company Health and Safety Policies and Government regulations.
  • The candidate will participate in staff consultation and communications, such as Toolbox Talks and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lifting, carrying, and maneuvering materials and equipment through physical and mechanical means.
  • Wearing specialized protective equipment.
  • Performing general physical activities, including climbing, balancing, sitting, and walking.
  • Twisting, squatting, kneeling, bending, and crawling movements may be required.
  • Operating handheld tooling and heavier machinery.
  • Working at height or within a confined space.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in a relevant industry is necessary.
  • Health and Safety training is desirable.
  • Extensive fabrication experience is essential.
  • Understanding of Safe Work Practices is crucial.
  • Effective communication skills and attention to detail are required.

Compensation: $65,000-$90,000 per annum, depending on work experience and qualifications.
