Company Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industry Engagement Lead to join our team at UNSW Australia. This role will play a critical part in developing and implementing a strategy to source suitable internships, projects, mentors, and job opportunities for Full-Time MBA students throughout their career development journeys.

Salary

The successful candidate will receive a remuneration level of 8 with an estimated salary of $123,044 - $138,637 per annum plus superannuation.

Job Description

This is a full-time fixed-term position for 35 hours a week until March 2026. The successful candidate will be required to work minimum 3 days on campus in Kensington, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a central point of contact for Full-Time MBA students throughout their career development journeys from pre-arrival through graduation.
  • Design and implement a strategy to source suitable internships, projects, mentors, and job opportunities for each student individually.
  • Develop and manage external relationships with corporate stakeholders, professional recruiting partners, and other organisations to assess hiring needs and cultivate a deep understanding of market trends.
  • Lead virtual and on-campus industry events for an MBA audience in collaboration with the Operations Team.
  • Capture, collate, and interpret career data collection throughout the full-time cohort's MBA journey to be used in annual rankings and publishing of employment outcomes.
  • Effectively engage with AGSM Alumni to ensure high participation in all events and to encourage alumni to identify regional, national, and global employment, internship, and project opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain a formal professional networking introduction system to connect AGSM students with alumni within Australia and internationally.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
