We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Consolidated Power Projects, a leading provider of high-voltage power solutions in Australia. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-voltage infrastructure projects, including transmission substations, wind farms, solar farms, and battery storage systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in providing delivery and engineering support on high-voltage projects, including project management, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop aspects of the design, including primary and secondary systems, and ensure compliance with company and client quality policies and procedures.
- Prepare tenders, project plans, and management plans, including ITP/ITCs, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor progress on behalf of the Project Manager, undertake project management tasks, and ensure designs and client requirements are correctly implemented on site.
- Interpret design implementation during construction to assist construction personnel and ensure compliance with company and client quality policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
- General knowledge of the high-voltage infrastructure industry, including project management, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning knowledge.
- Knowledge of MS Project and project management principles.
- The ability to solve problems and make good decisions in a timely manner, consulting others when appropriate.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, communicating with designers, construction personnel, clients, and management.
