Senior Design Manager

About our team

We are seeking a senior design professional to join our team in Defence Estate and Infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multidisciplinary design teams, with a focus on the Defence Estate.

The Senior Design Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall design intent and direction is upheld throughout the planning and delivery phases. This includes managing the design team, including all design, design-related, and documentation activities, as well as providing guidance to specialist consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical coordination and delivery of design solutions throughout Defence's design phases
  • Development, implementation, ongoing management and ownership of Design Management Plans
  • Responsible for the Quality of design deliverables, including that all Design and Design Documentation meet both end user and functional requirements established in the project brief
