Aboriginal Health Ambassador

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Aboriginal And Torres Strait Islander Liaison.
This role will provide the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and families by helping them navigate their healthcare journeys.
The liaison will work closely with a team to advocate for culturally safe practices and educate others about the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build trust and understanding with colleagues and clients alike.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing support and assistance to patients and families in communicating with healthcare staff.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of culturally sensitive programs and services.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes.
