Salary: $40.51 - $49.49 per hour + super

As a Registered Nurse in our High Dependency Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to patients requiring critical intervention and cardiology services.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse who can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and appropriate patient care.

About the Role:

You will be caring for various types of patients including post cardiac intervention, colorectal, urology, and bariatric surgeries. The unit has the capacity to monitor 4 patients with telemetry.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with a small High Dependency Unit team and be part of the wider surgical ward team.

Requirements:

  • AHPRA Registration with a current practising certificate
  • Demonstrated critical care experience
  • Post graduate certificate in Critical Care / Cardiology Nursing highly regarded
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
