The Manager, Research Ethics and Integrity provides strategic leadership in the establishment and maintenance of research governance activities, including the development of frameworks, policies, and procedures related to research integrity and ethics.
Key responsibilities include managing research compliance activities, providing expert technical knowledge and strategic advice on research ethics and integrity matters, and leading achievement of compliance and governance goals, priorities, and KPIs.
Reporting to the Director, Research and Innovation, you will possess established subject matter expertise in research ethics and integrity, preferably in a higher education sector setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the Ethics, Integrity, and Biosafety team and processes, including management of allegations and potential breaches of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research;
- Lead and manage achievement of the compliance and governance goals, priorities, and KPIs;
- Provide expert technical knowledge and strategic advice and analysis to the University on research ethics and research integrity matters.
