About This Role
">The Manawari Project Officer - Cultural Ambassador is responsible for delivering high-quality cultural training to a diverse audience, fostering strong relationships and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
">This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, staff, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Indigenous Australian cultures and values, as well as the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

- Deliver cultural training programs to external audiences, ensuring engaging and relevant content that meets the needs of participants;">
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, staff, and stakeholders, promoting cross-cultural understanding and collaboration;">
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address training needs, developing innovative solutions to improve cultural competency;">
- Contribute to the development of culturally sensitive policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with University values and commitments;">
- Provide support and guidance to staff and students on Indigenous Australian cultures and protocols, promoting inclusive and respectful practices.">

- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a related field, such as Indigenous studies, education, or cultural management.">
Salary Package
">This full-time position offers a salary range of $96,273 to $106,270 per annum, plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.
