Role Overview:

The primary focus of this position is to provide educational instruction and support to reception and year one students, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages academic growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Department for Education's scope and sequence for phonics, incorporating our school's literacy and numeracy agreement.

Cultivate a collaborative learning environment, utilising various teaching strategies to cater to diverse learners and promote inclusive education.

Work closely with leaders and colleagues to ensure each student receives tailored learning plans that facilitate their success.

Requirements:

Proven experience in teaching, with a strong emphasis on behaviour management and trauma-informed practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff and the community.

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, while maintaining a commitment to delivering high-quality educational outcomes.
