About the Role

Thiess is seeking skilled Auto Electricians to join their NSW Sites, working on various projects including the Muswellbrook Coal Mine Rehabilitation Project, Mt Arthur South, Mt Pleasant, and Mt Thorley Workshop.

As an Auto Electrician with Thiess, you will be responsible for:

• Performing general servicing, repair, and maintenance on mobile mining equipment, with a focus on CAT and Liebherr equipment.
• Running data, power, radio, and GPS antenna cables through bulkheads, panels, and access compartments on heavy mining machinery.
• Providing high-quality installations, including mountings, wiring, and testing of equipment.
• Ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
• Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.
• The ability to obtain a relevant Certificate of Proficiency issued by Training NSW.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
