Warehouse Operations Specialist

The Winning Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Operations Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily warehouse activities, including picking, unloading, loading and counting products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all incidents/injuries, near misses, and hazards are reported in a timely manner to management.
  • Handle products in line with safety and handling induction and training.
  • Adhere to WH&S policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all personnel on-site at the warehouse follow all relevant Safe Working Practices (SWPs) in accordance with the National Safety Plan.
  • Process stock received into the warehouse as per company procedures.
  • Transfer stock to designated storage areas as per company procedures.
  • Pick stock to picking lanes as per company procedure.
  • Conduct cycle counts.
  • Perform any other suitable duties as requested by supervisors or managers in other areas of the business.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience working with appliances, furniture, or large bulky items preferred but not essential.
  • Strong safety focus including safe manual handling knowledge and experience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good multitasking skills and experience.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A proactive, can-do approach.
