As a Graduate Sustainability Consultant, you will play a key role in analyzing, reporting, modeling, and documenting some of the most exciting sustainable design projects. You will perform sustainability design analysis, microclimate analysis, computational simulation (such as energy and daylight modeling), manage green building certification, develop strategies for water conservation, drive the reduction in upfront emissions, transportation, undertake energy audits, and other related duties.

You will work across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail, and Residential, and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as we support the development of your professional skills.

The Role You'll Play

In this role, you will join a team who specializes in the design of some of the most exciting construction projects in Australia and worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated graduate looking to start a career in sustainable design and the built environment to be part of the Graduate Program.

The targeted start date will be in January 2026 and can be flexible. As part of our established team of multi-disciplinary engineers, you will develop your knowledge and skills under the guidance of more experienced staff across multiple offices.

Required Skills:

  • Education to degree level in Engineering, the Built Environment, or a related area
  • Exposure to relevant skills in academic or professional settings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of using initiative to overcome challenges
  • Knowledge of ESD rating tools (Green Star, NABERS, LBC etc.)
  • Passion for creative and intuitive design
