About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Receptionist to join our team at Dentistry by Design in Balmain, NSW. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet patients, providing a warm and welcoming experience
  • Book and amend appointments, answer phone calls, and update patient records
  • Support the Practice Manager and clinical team with the day-to-day running of the practice
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing information about dental services and offers
  • Handle payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a dental reception role is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and provide a high level of patient care
