Seeking a Sandwich Artist

We have various openings for Sandwich Artists at one of our Subway stores:

Our store is located on Rasmussen QLD 4815. We are currently seeking talented team members to fill several part-time positions.

This role is ideal for high school students (Year 9, 10, 11, and 12) who want to gain valuable experience and develop essential skills.

The shifts available include morning staff, day/lunch staff, and evening shifts.

You will have plenty of opportunities for growth and training in this role.

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales, and/or customer service would be beneficial but not essential as we provide comprehensive training and courses through the University of Subway.

What's more important is a winning attitude. If you're working in retail or in a restaurant, studying, or have recently graduated and looking to start a career in the food industry, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Food preparation, including bread and cookie baking
  • Maintaining food storage and preparation areas according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
  • Complying with Food Code of Practice
  • Till operations
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Checking in deliveries
  • Completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Following security & safety procedures
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for employees and customers
  • Maintaining high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway brand and customer expectations
  • Working as a team member
  • Delivering a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales, and catering for customer needs

As a Sandwich Artist, you will serve and add value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. You will promote Subway brand awareness and ensure hygiene standards are met. This role is challenging but highly rewarding.
