We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering Council's exciting annual Events Program.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in event coordination or similar roles, with hands-on involvement in logistics and venue bookings. You will have strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
You will also have proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management systems, handling bookings, invoicing, and document management. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to collaborate effectively with teams and respond to community and stakeholder inquiries.
About the Role- Deliver Council's annual Events Program, coordinating events from planning to execution
- Assist with event logistics, administration, and on-the-ground support to ensure each event runs smoothly and successfully
- Provide support to external event organisers, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in event coordination or similar roles
- Strong organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management systems
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to collaborate with teams and respond to inquiries
