We're seeking a dedicated and empathetic Companion Carer to join our mission in providing exceptional care and assistance to clients in their homes.

Our commitment is to enhance the quality of life for those we serve, supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs, and older Australians.

As a Companion Carer, you'll be an integral part of our team, promoting positive relationships built on trust, respect, and dignity.

You'll need to possess excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in gardening and yard maintenance.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering personalized care and support that respects each client's rights and needs
  • Assisting clients with various gardening and yard maintenance activities
  • Providing companionship and daily errands support
  • Facilitating academic, social, or recreational activities
  • Preparing meals as required
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in client health and wellbeing
  • Responding to emergency situations

The essential criteria for this role include:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Interest in gardening and yard maintenance
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening & Orientation
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence
  • Comprehensive car insurance
