Production Design Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced lecturer to deliver engaging lectures and practical workshops in production design concepts, equipping students with hands-on skills and knowledge.

About the Role:

  • Demonstrate expertise in theatre or screen production design principles and practices.
  • Mentor students in production projects, fostering their growth and development as designers.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Production Design or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Industry experience in theatre or screen production design.
  • Previous teaching experience at tertiary or vocational level is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or CAD programs.
  • Strong knowledge of surface techniques and scenic art for theatre productions.
  • Familiarity with script analysis and storyboarding for production design.
  • Experience working on live theatre and screen projects.
