About UsAt Construction-Recruitment, we specialize in connecting talented individuals with leading construction companies in QLD. We are currently partnering with a reputable construction firm in search of a skilled Foreman to join their team for a large-scale (commercial) townhouse project of 160 units.
Responsibilities- Work and support the Site Manager to execute the construction plan for the townhouse project.
- Oversee the delivery of residential homes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Prioritize site safety by enforcing regulations, conducting regular inspections, and providing guidance to tradespeople on safe work practices.
- Direct trades and coordinate deliveries to maintain efficient workflow on site.
- Report directly to the Site Manager, providing updates on project progress and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Foster positive working relationships with tradespeople, making their work environment conducive to productivity and safety.
- 3 years of work experience on residential and commercial construction projects.
- Strong background with a focus on delivering residential homes, commercial buildings, and townhouses.
- Familiarity with large-scale residential projects or commercial construction is essential.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate trades on site.
- Commitment to maintaining a safety-conscious work environment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Trade Qualified Carpenter.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and tradespeople to achieve project objectives.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
