Job Title: Drainage Specialist

 

About the Role:

The Drainage Specialist is responsible for installing, maintaining and designing below-ground drainage systems and associated sewerage or effluent disposal systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out and installing drainage systems
  • Performing site drainage and de-watering procedures
  • Locating and clearing blockages
  • Excavating and levelling to line, depth and grade
  • Installation of Excavation supports
  • Interpreting technical drawings
  • Excavation for manholes
  • Construction of concrete pits
  • Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirements
  • Utilizing equipment such as pressure testing equipment, excavators, jackhammers, compaction machinery, compressors, backhoes and dumpers

 

Requirements:

  • AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications

 

Benefits:

A competitive salary range of $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

 

Schedule:

An 8 hour shift
