Maintenance Planner Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to take on a challenging role within our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and equipment by:

  • Transferring assets in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as required;
  • Monitoring and actioning emails related to asset management;
  • Coordinating weekly work order servicing schedules to minimize downtime;
  • Managing work orders and associated documentation within the CMMS;
  • Loading and maintaining new assets in the CMMS, including scheduled oil sampling (SOS) within the CAT system;
  • Continuously monitoring schedules and plans to identify areas for improvement;
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and obligations.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong mechanical trade background with experience in mobile plant;
  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a planning role;
  • A solid understanding of equipment and maintenance safety systems, processes, and procedures within transport and mobile plant mining environments;
  • Experience working with a computerized CMMS system, preferably Pronto;
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, incl. drug & alcohol screen;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (preferably Outlook, Word & Excel);
  • Excellent presentation, organization, and communication skills;
  • A strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Trade qualification in mobile maintenance road transport or heavy plant;
  • Good communication skills to deal with multiple remote sites;
  • Understanding of road transport and mining regulations.

This is a mid-senior level, full-time position requiring excellent organizational and communication skills. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work independently while being part of a dynamic team.
